Hi! I’m Sara.
I’m a graphic designer and museum collections specialist from the beautiful Fraser Valley. Using my BA in Anthropology from UBC and certificate in Graphic Design from BCIT, I use creative thinking to solve problems.
Why do museums need graphic design?
Graphic designers and museum interpreters have the same end goal: to tell stories in an effective and engaging way. While institutions have traditionally relied on text, images, and artifacts to communicate with the public, exhibits that use visual language and focus on user experience often leave the most significant impact on their audiences.
With impactful graphic design, museums are more successful at memorably sharing their message, encouraging visitors to return and learn more. With my background in museums and my knowledge as a graphic designer, I am equipped to tackle the unique challenges that your institution may face.
